Update on CIT 260

Due to deaths of multiple close family members in the first three months of 2017, and the need to focus on family health and stability, I chose to cut back on my school workload. This will come as no surprise to those who know me, as I am fiercely family-first. In this case it meant choosing to withdraw from CIT 260 with the intention to return and complete it later.

However with time off to refocus and reevaluate where I was and where I wanted to be, I felt it wise to change my major from Web Development (a non-CS track) to a Computer Science degree in Software Engineering.

At the time of writing this updated, I am well into my new degree, and will be taking classes that cover object oriented programming in more depth than that required in the non-CS Web Development path. I’ve put less priority on my blog over the last few months, but felt it was time to start again. That said, I will be updating my blog consistent with the new classes I am and will be taking, and this post represents a cap on CIT 260.
